Oh what fun it is to read Robert Crais again! Crais has a wonderful character here in Elvis Cole, with super pacing and a good plotline. And all the supporting cast members are fabulous as well (including, of course Joe Pike - which I read back in 2007 in The Watchman). It's quite funny in spots, and this is the first in the series...
If you like detective/mystery stories, good-guys and bad-guys, some very clever writing, and a little escape from reality, this is your kind of book.
